It's been a while since I last made progress; difficult to find time between summer travels and work. I've now completed the surface detailing for this kit. I gave it a light prime to check for surface defects. The head is still masked to preserve the painted face underneath.
Shoulder details - I wanted some flat edges rather than a rounded surface. Also added lines for separating each scale-like feature
Arms - I may have went a bit overboard with the scribing. The notch in the elbow is to make room for a piston.
Legs - I found the calf to be a bit too empty so I added some part separation by sawing the plate into multiple pieces. I think it could have been done cleaner; separating a fairly round piece with no edges for reference was challenging.
Feet - Mostly following the existing panel lines, I extended them a bit to get better angles.
Next step is fixing surface faults and re-priming. Then it will be time to paint!
