Description:
I got an airbrush and wanted to practice painting on something expendable. This is a Gundam Seed No Grade kit that I built in grade school before I knew what gunpla were. There were terrible nub marks to clean and the kit contained about 20 pieces and the model has no elbow or knee articulation. I chose these colours and decals to see how they would look in preparation for my upcoming Gouf Custom project that will use a similar color scheme. It turned out too bright and the colours will need to be muted.I learned a lot from my first painting session: airbrushing is not that difficult, but painting adds a lot more hours to a project; oil paints take 2 weeks to dry; no grade kits are not for me; waterslide decals are excellent.
